Retro gadgets: Motocompo madness
I was thinking the other day that it would be so practical to have a folding motorcyle that fits in the trunk of my Honda City. Just then, I stumbled upon the Motocompo, a folding motorcyle that fits in the trunk of a Honda City! This little single-speed baby came out in 1981 and Honda sold 53,369 of them in Japan. It features an AB12E 49 cc air-cooled two-stroke engine with 2.5 hp at 5,000 rpm. I was a bit disappointed to see that it only has 0.38 kg-m of torque at 4,500rpm, but you know, you can't have everything. It's also worth noting that it weighs 42 kg dry and 45 kg wet. It's a bench. It's a fruit holder. It's man's best friend. Via Perpenduum.
